New Year's Frost

2 years, 9 months

01 January 2017 brings subzero temperatures to Central Europe. At the Austrian-German border, everything is covered in frost, evoking a peace and calm. Although this picture was taken from Austria, what is shows is Germany, on the other side of the Inn river. A reminder of how random and human-made borders are, and how to the planet our political divisions mean nothing.
