Afternoon Khat
2 years, 10 monthsWhile everyone sits around chewing their favourite mild narcotic, khat, the toothless sit around pre grinding the stimulant in a homemade mortar and makeshift pestle. There is little to do during the day besides pray and ingest more of Harar's proud commodity.
