Two Medicine

2 years, 10 months

The world really does change in an instant. This is a 30 second exposure seemingly “frozen” by distant flashes of lightning that would have otherwise been a blurry mess of rapid traveling clouds. Less than 2 hours before this I was photographing the milky way from this exact spot. Shortly after, the winds were strong enough to blow over my weighted tripod. The image came out of camera with that purple tint. It seemed to intensify and change before ultimately disappearing.
