A Kestrel takes a break after seizing a lizard from the fields. Taken on the smallest and most remote of the Canary Islands of El Hierro. The island sits out in the Atlantic, while the terrestrial wildlife may not be so diverse the waters of the island are home to huge numbers of fish and whales.Off the beaten path it sees few tourists except for hikers and divers and is unspoilt in comparison to the other islands.
