The days before Yom Kipput, jewish people celebrate #Kaparot. With an special prayer, the sins of people are transferred to an animal, usually a white chicken. The animal is killed in a kosher procedure, minimizing the suffering. The meat is then donated to poor people. Many people consider this tradition a pagan and not really sacret, so many people protest against the thousands of killed aninals. In this picture, the Shojet is going to cut the throat of the chicken with a very sharp knife.
