A Winter's Morning

3 years

The rising winter sun casts its weak light over the frozen windswept landscape. You might not realize the world is warming, wading chest-deep in the frozen snow to catch the rising sun, as I am here - but even here in this frozen world there is evidence. This snow will be gone much sooner than usual and the wildlife will return to the exposed grass up to a month earlier. For me and the people of this land I wonder what will become of beautiful views like this. Captured in Saskatchewan, Canada.
