Barred Owl
3 years, 2 monthsA late hike on a weary Friday turned up a really pleasant surprise - a beautiful Barred Owl low in a tree and just off the trail. I watched him for about a half hour as he stretched his wings and prepared for the night's hunt. It was the best 30 minutes of my week.
