Patience

I have been trying to capture an image of a Kingfisher since I took up photography around seven years ago. I have several times seen the beautiful flash of blue disappear up river, but never sighted one perching above the water. You can imagine my excitement a few days ago when my patience paid off and this magnificent Bird perched, just for a second in front of me, what a special moment
