A group of semipalmated sandpipers fly over the ocean at dusk. During the annual sandpiper migration, up to 150 000-170 000 sandpipers can be seen in this particular spot during the month of August. I captured this shot shortly after the majority of birds have left for a warmer climate. These birds are the stragglers, but after a couple days, they too, were gone.
