Genealogy is a journey of discovery….finding documents and photos that show the stories of your ancestors' lives, and hopefully explain why they moved from there to here. One such story is that of my great-grandfather, Joseph. He lived and worked as a pipe organ builder in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. The opportunity to manage his company’s new factory in South Haven, Michigan brought him and his family to the US. Getting to know him, through research, has been an exciting thing for me!
