A member of one of the largest prides in the Mala Mala Game Reserve, a young lion cub picks at the remains of a Zebra carcass. The Zebra was killed the evening before, during a hunt with four lionesses, which left one other Zebra badly injured. Now, during the morning hours, having gorged themselves, the adult lions lounge nearby digesting in the warming sun. The young take their turn, playing with their food more than eating it.
