Owl Companionship for Sale

3 years, 11 months

The owl is on a leach, attached at its ankle, for the viewing pleasure of the public and the financial gain of the man in the glasses. Walking down the streets of old Edinburgh, we saw many kilt-clad men, and bagpipe get street performers. This was the only owl I ever saw on the streets of any European city I've visited. It was advertised that if you paid a small fee the owl would rest on your arm. I felt too sad to condone the act by paying, so I took a photo and went on my way.
