Roman Seagull

Last year I spent my first year of college in Florence, Italy. It was difficult to live in a place I had never been and a place where I didn't speak the language. However, my mom came to visit me last spring and we travelled to Rome, Italy. It was the best part of my year-long experience because I could share all I had learned about Italian culture and history and language. This photo was taken in the center of Rome on top of a building with a view of the Colosseum.
