Distressed beauty

Some of the scenes along the hot springs areas almost looked like a fire had run through and, in a way, I guess it sort of did. The way the springs pop up and move around, the landscape is always changing with burned trees and new growth. This particular area had spread and was running into the river during my visit last spring.
