Corcovado in the Heavens
4 yearsYet another sacred site with a heaven-like perspective. The sun sets behind the Corcovado in the "Cidade Maravilhosa", after a warm day on Ipanema. The picture was taken from the Pão de Açucar, overlooking Botafogo, another one of Rio's many atractions. The shot managed to capture the sun, right behind the silhouette of the Corcovado and the city as it slowly illuminates and wake the city's amazing monday nightlife.
