Aiguille du Dru (3,754 m)

4 years, 1 month

This was taken on my second day in the French Alps. I had planned to visit the Mer De Glace, the largest glacier in Franc. Adventure took us out on to the ice and a few miles towards the source of it. The weather had forecast storms and as the cloud began to lower this incredible sight revealed itself. I dropped everything and captured the sense of awe and magnificence that this place holds for me.
