Foot Bridge at Carroll Creek Park

4 years, 1 month

Carroll Creek Park is a 1.3 mile long waterway in the historic town of Frederick, Maryland. This lovely setting was created as part of a flood control project about 10 years ago. The stream is full of aquatic life; hundreds of waterlilies cover the stream's surface, adding beauty and keeping the water cool, which deters algae growth. This one of the beautiful bridges that allow pedestrians to cross the creek to visit the many nearby restaurants and shops.
