I was floating over a reef at low tide when I came upon this orange-lined triggerfish hanging out by a rock waiting for the tide to come in. Just before he could scurry off, he had this adorable "uh-oh" look on his face to have been found. I love triggerfishes. They are like cartoon characters of the tropical reef without the help of a Pixar animation studio. This lined triggerfish has eyes like sewn-on buttons extending the orange stripes from its forehead. Nature has a sense of humor!
