Art deco perfection from above

4 years, 3 months

Shot from the top of the spiral staircase in the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, UK. The building was opened in 1935 and you can see the original plaque at the foot of the stairwell. It's a centre for the arts and has undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years being a Grade I listed building. The lighting on this day was superb and just lent itself to be shot in black and white. There is a wonderful art deco light fitting running through the centre of the stairwell.
