Took this picture of a head of flowers on top of the tree with a zoom lens. The flowers look beautiful close up. Spathodea campanulata, is commonly known as the fountain tree, African tulip tree, pichkari or Nandi flame. The tree grows between 7–25 m (23–82 ft) tall and is native to tropical dry forests of Africa. The open flowers are cup-shaped and hold rain and dew, making them attractive to many species of birds.The tree is regarded as as one of the most beautiful of all flowering trees.
