Vigilant Mother Cow

This is one of the newborn calves that are on my fiancée's parent's land and its mother. I went out in the field with my fiancée's mother to find this cow and calf and we found her along the tree line on the edge of their property. The mother was very nervous and vigilant the entire time we were there. She did calm down a lot and started bathing her calf, but as you can see in this picture she will do anything to keep her calf safe.
