Opposites..

4 years, 4 months

White vs black, brightness vs darkness, light vs shadow, vertical vs horizontal, strong lines vs subtle ripples, smooth vs rough, geometric vs organic, chaos vs calm, soft vs hard.. , like a path, we all calling Life! Exploring a small lake, I found a natural abstract. To bring out the forms and the reflection and to isolate them from the colors and the harsh light contrast I chose to use black and white.

From Your Shot photographer Sukanya De: “This frame is like a lyrical dream, touching the sublime contrasts of brightness and darkness, chaos and calm, light and shade, geometric and abstract and a multitude of opposite emotions!! Love the ripples, they seem like some thoughtful vibrations through the flowing waters of time.”
