Birth of a Rose

I used a macro extender to my 55-200m lens. The day I took this Saginaw was a bit windy so I not only had to hold my breath, I had to wait for the wind to stop. I used a small tripod to hold the camera as steady as I could. The sky as you can see did not have a cloud anywhere to be seen. This made the lighting perfect. Of course there where several shots taken before I was able to acquire the detail I wanted. These flowers are very small so that made it a bit more tricky
