The Olhain castle is the best preserved medieval castle in northern France and was built in the 15th century. The castle was occupied by troops during the two World Wars. Indeed, troops and horses from the French, English and Canadian armies successively occupied the castle, as well as the outbuildings, farming buildings and neighbouring meadows. Nowadays, it is open to visitors who can experience the medieval lifestyle.
