A set of stairs built many years ago

This is a set of stairs located in a building that isin the middle of a very old city in which several events from the civil war took place. The stairs are not as old as the city, but if you came to visit this town you'll find many land marks, churches, homes and roads that were founded around or even before the events of the Civil war. The city's name is Frederick.
