Ice covered cave, Lake Superior

5 years, 2 months

We were fortunate enough to have temperatures cold enough this past winter to freeze the Big Lake enough to allow visitors, quite a lot of them, access to the caves that form along the shoreline. They stretch for several miles along the shore from Cornucopia towards Red Cliff. This is just inside one of them, our day out there was hazy and gray, but the ice is beautiful anyway.
