Rori's First Birthday

As first birthdays dictate, Rori is given her own cake to eat as she pleases at a public park with family and friends gathered. She is my only sister's first grandchild, from her first child. I remember the day my sister told me on the phone, from 5000 miles away, that her first child would be born. That was Rori's mother 25 years ago.
