Dark season Kayaking

Took this shot on the 9. December, in the middle of what is called the dark season her up in the north, beyond the polar circle. But as you can see it is not just darkness that reigns. We don't see the sun, but there is an hour or two with beautiful light, especially on clear, cold days like this.
