The "Iron Bird" in the sky
5 years, 10 monthsI was only 8 years old and I recall how my Grandma used to identify the airplane (in her mother tongue Tamil) as the "Iron Bird" of the skies, and say one day I will be on it. Streaming against the clouds, as she never had the chance to travel by air till her last days.
