Children Coal Sorters

These young lads were stuffing bags with charcoal in a local market in Yangon in mid-June of 2009. I strolled down the street, checking out local produce, and saw them in a small, dark room behind a fruit stand, toiling away. Surely not the kind of conditions I would want my children to work in.
