Took my dog for a walk one day shortly after buying my new Nikon, my first "good" camera. Saw this eagle on the beach.. and thought, wow, I have to go get my camera. I dashed home, praying the eagle would still be there when I got back. He was. I got several shots before he moved further down the beach where I got this shot. I used my 200mm lense, at full zoom, and was about 30 feet away from this magnificent creature. I will never forget it.
