Lake Rara (1), Rara National Park, Nepal

It was late afternoon when I, together with a friend, entered Rara National Park. Rather tired as we were after a long climb, the lake provided a much-needed respite. The equipment I used was pretty basic: a borrowed camera and a cheap lens, but it made me feel really elated in having captured this never-before seen shot of the lake described as one of the most beautiful in Nepal. After a few shots to let the clouds drift by, I was able to capture the Himalayan Range in the background as well.
