HIDDEN IN NATURE

6 years

While taking some photos in a field with my Granddaughter she got a little ahead of me and i started losing sight of her. She turned and i captured this shot.I have taken several photos over the years in this farming town and am amazed how one field changes from year to year and no one really notices. This year happened to be grass but changes to corn, beans, etc each season.

Trying to incorporate a human into a natural landscape to evoke the feeling of oneness with nature is a difficult visual task. Often the results look forced or contrived. However, I believe this photograph succeeds by blending in the tones and figures in a subtle and quiet manner.
