Mangroves around the world deserve protection because they offer us nothing less. They protect us from erosion, offer home for many species of birds, reptiles, insects, crabs, fish, even humans. Mangroves give us part of the oxygen we breathe everyday and are a nursery for future generations. Here we can see a colony of feather worms living on the roots of the red mangrove "rhizophora mangle" in the Enchanted Lagoon of the Rosario Islands, Colombia.
