The Pelican in Portrait

The Pelican nebula resides in the constellation Cygnus at a distance of ~2000 light-years. This emission nebula consisting mainly of hydrogen fluoresces from the radiation of the nearby first magnitude star Deneb. L(Ha)RGB image taken from my backyard observatory.
