Sunning Great Blue Heron

June 19, 2009 I was taking some shots of a Great Blue Heron feeding at a lake. He didn't appreciate being photographed, flew across the lake and landed about 20 feet up into a tree. He didn't get his fish, but decided to spread his wings and dry off in the morning sun.
