Into the abyss

2 months

After days walking through the patagonic Andes we finally arrived to Torres camp in the Glaciers National Park. We had to fight against exhaustion and freezing temperatures, in order to get to the viewpoint in the middle of night, but once the sun started to rise it was incredible. But the light also revealed the retreating glaciers caused by anthropogenic impact, sign of the unbalance we have created knowingly. A reminder that humanity is consciously staring into the abyss beneath.
