Lions mane jelly

1 month, 4 weeks

Drøbak, Norway 14.8.19 - A dying lions mane jelly is drifting in the sea outside our neighbour town. The wind has been quite hard from the south for some days and the jellyfishes are drifting into the fjord in large numbers. Lots of them are in a quite bad shape and become food for anemones and crabs. Under the jellyfish, you can see the density of juvenile gobies, almost making a cloud. Most of them will soon be eaten by predators. For me, this scene with life and death, make nice motives.
