4 months, 1 weekI've been photographing these black-capped chickadees since they chose this birch tree for their nest this spring. I wanted to show the harried nature of the adults' lives as they strive to raise their offspring. I finally managed to get this photo of both parents -- one bringing food as the other carries away feces to keep the nest clean.
