5 months, 3 weeksExploring the wetlands below an old abandoned homestead, the root system of a long fallen tree caught my attention. I studied the intricate interwoven patterns of the roots, the dirt still trapped, the earthy colors, the bore holes of the insects, and the setting of the old barns in the background.
