We woke up to a cold, dark, desert morning. My bones, chilly, were begging me to stay in my sleeping bag; but we had traveled too far to pass this up. Experiencing the magic of Delicate Arch at sunrise was on my bucket list, and I would not allow myself to miss it. We groggily packed ourselves into the car and drove into Arches National Park. A faint orange light began to appear on the horizon, illuminating the darkness. After a short hike, we turned one last corner. My dream had come true.
