Great Egret

8 months, 3 weeks

Birds in flight have always captured the imagination of humans. The effortless grace in which they can take to the wing and the beauty in when they do it is inspiring both in aesthetics and wonder. The ability to capture the momenta the movement is a phenomenal gift to ourselves and a fitting tribute to these incredible creatures. I watched this Great Egret circle a fountain with minimal effort, a few beats of their great wings and they glided with poise and ease, truly capturing my imagination.
