Maras salt flats
10 monthsThe Maras salt flats in the region near Cusco is an other worldly landscape. You can see three distinctly coloured pools, the white, baize and brown. The reason for that is their varied levels of salinity because they are meant to produce different products, from table salt, to medicinal products, to beauty products.
