A Walk Lit Up

10 months, 1 week

We went out with the intent to catch auroras and skiing in the same shot. When we started the hike, no lights were to be seen. We knew we had a slight chance of getting it. After about an hour of walking we came to a clearing in the trees, everybody stopped and looked up. It was there. I ran ahead with the camera, took off my backpack and used it as a tripod and took a shot backwards. It was going to be an awesome night.
