A Monkey and His Temple

I traveled to Malaysia alone in September 2018 - but I felt less alone when I encountered the residents of Batu Caves. The residents of the Batu Caves, such as this one, will greet you by stealing your food and bags. These monkeys surround the cave, and are constantly on the watch for vulnerable tourists carrying fresh coconut drinks, or bags of snacks. In this moment, I caught this monkey resting on the ledge of the Hindu temple, taking a break from his mischievous antics.
