Cotton Top Tamarin

11 months, 3 weeks

I loved zoos as a child and grew up with probably the most forward thinking one in the wold at the time, San Diego, but as I've traveled around I've come to understand that most zoos are hideous concrete and chickenwire prisons meant to merely display captive animals for human consumption, not the activity enriched playgrounds I grew up with that frankly cared more about the animal's comfort and survival than whether or not the public could actually see them.
