Caught midair in midtown, parkour athlete Adam Echa leaps across a 23-story office building, right over the heads of unsuspecting fashionistas in the Garment District below. "New jumps are scary," he later confides. "No matter how perfect your technique. But I tune my eyes and body to understand & feel the obstacle ahead of me. I narrow my attention to one thing & one thing only. And my body is like, 'yup I can do this'. I don't even have to ask myself. And there is a blissful feeling in that."
