Shadow Boxing

1 year

The enemy you most often need to face is yourself. The Shaolin monks came to campus for their annual performance, and I went up to a nearby balcony to get a different perspective. The sun was still angled just enough that I had interesting but sharp shadows that stayed close to the monks. I caught this shot of one of the monks in the middle of (probably) a butterfly kick and loved how it seemed like he was flying into battle with his own shadow.
