The Marsh Wren's Call

A Marsh Wren calls from the top of a cattail in Arcata Marsh. For eight months out of the year, these small birds can be heard all over marsh as they call to stake out territory by the freshwater ponds and attract females to the nests they build from fallen reeds and cattail fluff.
