Sea salt from Trapani, Sicily

1 year, 2 months

The gentleman holding this sea salt has worked his salt pans in Trapani his whole life. His sons now do the heavy labor-everything is still done by hand. The patriarch gave me a tour and showed me how the salt is harvested on the northwest coast of Sicily. Their sea salt is "integrale," meaning it is not stripped of inherent nutrients and is all natural. The difference is unforgettable.
